Algebra 1 includes simplifying and evaluating expressions, solving linear and quadratic equations, simplifying variable expresssions, problem solving, and graphiong on the Cartesian coordinate plane. Students connect these topics to a variety of "real world" applications and to Geometry. Students will be introduced to the use of the graphing calculator.

 

Grades: 9, 10,11, 12 (full year)
