Arnie Otterbeck, Associate Principal
Arnie Otterbeck has been serving as an Associate Principal at Oak Harbor High School since August of 2018.
He attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and a Master's in Teaching from Whitworth University. Before becoming an Associate Principal, he served as a Dean of Students and taught AP Environmental Science, Integrated Science, Woodshop and Physical Education. In addition, he has coached football, wrestling, and track and field.
He chose to become a high school administrator because his life has been positively impacted by educators, coaches and administrators in all levels of schooling. He is passionate about seeing kids succeed and grow and wants school to be a positive and enriching experience for all kids.
Mr. Otterbeck, his wife Christy and their daughter Nora are happy to be part of the Oak Harbor community. They are grateful for the warmth and support they have received.
