Wismine D’Avilar - Dean of Students

Wismine D'Avilar is a phenomenal multifaceted woman who has an unyielding drive and ambition to make a positive difference in her community. She formerly worked as Dean of Students at Oak Harbor Intermediate School and North Whidbey Middle School, where her primary focus consisted of enforcing restorative justice among adolescents and maintaining their safety.

Prior to becoming a Dean, Wismine worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) where she gained experience working with children and adolescents who were diagnosed with Autism. Amid her tumultuous schedule, Mrs. D'Avilar still dedicates time to counseling students on behavioral decision-making. Her impeccable dedication to mentorship and self-care fosters an environment of learning and educational progress for students under her watch.

She currently holds a Pastoral Counseling Certification, and a double Master's in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration. Wismine is the epitome of enthusiasm and professionalism. She strives to empower every student and give them the necessary tools to build self-confidence. Wismine has been a devoted wife to her wonderful husband who actively serves our country. They have two beautiful children and a black lab. She enjoys family time, dancing, outdoor sports, and mentoring.
