Overview

The Oak Harbor High School Fine Arts department offers a wide range of course levels in art, band, choir, and drama. Under the mentorship of our excellent teachers, students in our Fine Arts departments have a long history of excellence in both local and nationwide competitions. Details on art showcases, concerts, and the school play are listed on the Event Calendar on the high school website and will be announced on the Oak Harbor High School Facebook page.

Art 

Art students showcase their work during the school year at various venues, namely the Oak Harbor Library and the City of Oak Harbor.  They also have many opportunities to participate in art competitions.

Band and Choir

Our award winning music program offers students the opportunity to perform several times during the school year and participate in local and statewide competitions.  They also perform at school games and assemblies on a regular basis. 

Drama

Our drama program offers courses where students develop a basic knowledge of theatre through improvisation, theatre games and performance. Participation in drama develops creative thinking and confident communication as well as introducing students to stagecraft and the history of the development of dramatic forms.  

There is also a Drama Club at our school which puts on a production every year and a few other special events.
