Financial Aid:
If you plan to attend college or trade school during the 2025-26 school year, you will want to complete the FAFSA or WASFA beginning December 1, 2024. Some schools and scholarship opportunities require that financial aid is submitted to be eligible for scholarships.
Steps to do Now:
Create your FAFSA FSA ID or WASFA account
- Create a FAFSA FSA ID on the Federal Student Aid website. Most people should complete the FAFSA to maximize financial aid.
- Create a WASFA account on the Washington Student Achievement Council website if you are ineligible to use FAFASA.
- Remember your login information.

The next CAPE Club sponsored blood drive will be Friday, March 28, in the library. Sign ups will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the SUB during both lunches, starting March 4. If you are 16 or 17, you will need a permission slip signed by your parent/guardian. You can also sign up by emailing Ms. Olvera at molvera@ohsd.net and/or seeing her in her office in the counseling center, A138. Every blood donor can save up to three lives! And you get community service hours for donating! Thank you, Wildcats!
In an effort to make it easier for parents and students to purchase dance tickets, Oak Harbor High School will have dance tickets available through GoFan. A QR code will be provided for them to use. The link below will help to navigate the process.
https://gofan.playonsports.com/digital-ticketing-guide
You still have the option to pay in person during both lunches in the sub with cash or check. To control the number of tickets students buy we will have the GoFan closed for ticket sales during school lunch times.
Students that do not attend OHHS (running start, Home Connections, Homeschool, Virtual Academy and Midway) can purchase on GoFan or before or after school in the Athletic office with cash or check.
Students that receive free tickets will do so on GoFan and need to access their ticket by the end of the school day on Friday the day before the dance to receive it for free.
If your ticket is not purchased by the end of second lunch on the Friday before the dance they will only be able to purchase their ticket on GoFan. There will be no cash or check sales at the door.
For outside guests the process is the same after you have your approval you will have access to purchase an additional ticket either in the sub with cash or check or on GoFan.
Please if you have any questions, contact Cheryl Harasti (charasti@ohsd.net, 360 279 5818)
We hope this will make it easier for students and parents. Thank you.
This is a reminder: Students are not to park in the front lot or areas designated for staff parking. Those students caught parking in staff parking will not only be required to pay the fine, but their campus parking privileges will be revoked and they will not be allowed to park anywhere on campus for the remainder of the school year.
