PTO NEWS

Each year OHHS celebrates its highest achieving students by awarding Academic Letters.  Earning an Academic Letter is similar to lettering in a sport, but awarded to those who have consistently received high grades.

This year’s Academic Letter Ceremony will be Tuesday, November 19th at 6:30pm in the OHHS SUB.

To receive an Academic Letter, a student must have at least a 3.5 GPA in each of three consecutive trimesters.  Once the Academic Letter is received, students will be awarded Continuing Excellence bars for each additional trimester they achieve a 3.5 GPA.  Additionally, Academic Letter recipients will receive a Highest Honor “Lamp of Knowledge” pin for each trimester they achieve a 4.0 GPA.

Students (and their parents) who we plan to celebrate were notified on Monday afternoon by email or Parent Square!  If you believe you qualify, but have not been notified, please reach out to the OHHS PTO at ohhspto@gmail.com  NOTE:  OHHS does not have access to Running Start grades, thus Running Start students who believe they qualify should send their Running Start grades to the PTO.
