Career & Technical Education

Career and Technical Education (CTE)

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a planned program of courses and learning experiences that include exploration of career options; supports basic academic and life skills; and provides hands-on experiences for students.

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an integral part of each student’s high school education. CTE helps each student develop their leadership, workplace, and technical skills while ensuring they are academically prepared for postsecondary education and training for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers.

Oak Harbor Public Schools offers high-quality CTE programs in twelve different pathways:

Additional information regarding specific CTE Courses can be found in our school Course Guide.
