Thank You for Giving, #OneOakHarbor

When we talk about #OneOakHarbor, we reference how our entire community helps educate our children. And we are truly amazed by the generous spirit of our island community!

The heads and hearts of Mrs. Ching's second graders at Hillcrest Elementary are warmer thanks to the gift of a hand-knitted hat from 90-year-old Oak Harbor resident Dorothy Bell! Miss Dorothy has been knitting individual hats for students for the past 10 years!

This month our staff and families are giving to North Whidbey Help House's Holiday House. Thank you to those who are donating to our bins. Special thank you to the North Whidbey Middle School staff for supporting the Holiday House through their monthly Giving Lunches coordinated by teacher Mary Ann Duhrkopf.

Earlier this week the Oak Harbor Walmart donated school supplies for students at North Whidbey Middle School.
