Monthly Newsletter for November 2024

A Message From Your Administrators

Dear Wildcat Families,

November is an important month, as it’s the last full month of the trimester. Students will have a few brief interludes in the month (thanks to conferences and holidays) but it’s time to look ahead and make certain all schoolwork is submitted and up-to-date so students can conclude the trimester on a positive note!

Conferences will be held on November 7th and 8th. Please click here to view the conference schedule. In-person conferences are “open house” style, while virtual conferences require registration through Skyward. For more information, please see the “Conference" section below.

We are so proud of students and the efforts and accomplishments we’ve seen them put forth thus far. Marching Band, Choir, Swimming, Cross Country, Tennis, Volleyball, Football, and Robotics have all impressed those of us who have had the pleasure of seeing them all perform. Key Club has done a tremendous job fundraising and collecting packaged food items for the sake of various local charities. Also of note: we will soon see engaging works come forth from our Band and Drama Club, as well as our Art students, who will be putting on an end-of-trimester art show in early December.

Winter sports begin Monday, November 18th for Boys’ & Girls’ Basketball, Boys’ & Girls’ Wrestling and Boys’ Swim. Registration is now open through our athletic sign up program "FinalForms". Complete information about each sport, its schedule, and how to register can be located at https://www.ohhsathletics.com

Because November is the month during which Veterans Day and Thanksgiving take place, we would like to make certain that we thank our staff, parents, and community members who have served in our military. We are grateful for the many students we have had the fortune to teach, coach, and mentor, thanks to our unique location. We recognize we wouldn’t be here without them.

We wish you all a wonderful month of November and look forward to seeing many of you at conferences next week!
